Students meet Lord Mayor of Dublin

The Lord Mayor of Dublin, Rt. Hon Oisin Quinn, visited ACD on Wednesday, 26th February  2014. During his visit Cllr. Quinn toured the Oscar Wilde House and met with both fulltime ACD students, and our semester abroad students. Cllr. Quinn took questions over coffee with the students including if there would ever be a tunnel between Ireland and Wales, he spoke about the role of the Lord Mayor, the history of the position, the  proposed changes to the mayoral office and shared not some of his own his background and interests.
